Job summary

Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for the 3-11 shift in our renovated, 4-star facility. The role requires supervising staff and acting as charge nurse when needed to meet residents' needs.

The position includes on-call duties and every-other-weekend availability, with a focus on teamwork, excellence, and patient care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CT RN license.
• Experience in Long Term Care.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit.
• Assist with treatment and medication administration.
• Assist with Admissions.
• Attend nursing meetings.
• Conduct audits of all new admission charts.
• Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor and other departments.
• Investigate all incident reports and follow-up.
• Manage staff and assignments to ensure quality of care.
• Participate in annual evaluations of staff.
