Job summary

Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Branford Hills is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor for the 7p–7a shift to provide leadership and clinical guidance to LPNs and CNAs, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

The RN Supervisor will work with the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing and will oversee resident assessments, admissions, MAR/TAR documentation, and discharge planning in a 190-bed skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience; leadership preferred.
• Experience supervising LPNs and CNAs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments.
• Oversee admissions and verify orders and meds.
• Maintain electronic MAR/TAR documentation.
• Administer treatments and medications.
• Manage the discharge process.
• Educate residents, families, and staff.
• Complete incident reports and follow-ups.
• Discharge education on medications and care.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services.

Position: RN Supervisor (7p–7a) – Monday, Wednesday, Friday

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. Whether working independently or alongside the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing, the RN Supervisor will provide strong leadership and clinical guidance to our LPNs and CNAs, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments

• Oversee and coordinate resident admissions, including verification of physician orders and medication requests

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic MAR and TAR documentation

• Administer treatments and medications

• Manage the discharge process, ensuring appropriate continuity of care

• Provide education to residents, families, and staff

• Complete incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up and notifications

• Educate residents and families upon discharge regarding medication and procedure maintenance

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services
