Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in West Orange, NJ is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations during the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift. This full-time role offers the chance to guide a dedicated team and ensure high-quality resident care in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will supervise staff, participate in rounds, collaborate with physicians, review care plans, and help with admissions and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• RN license active in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care, subacute, or geriatric settings
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Support the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and overseeing daily nursing operations
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and adjust assignments for optimal coverage
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance; report findings to leadership
• Participate in state surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections
• Review and implement resident care plans, including discharge planning
• Ensure accurate medication administration and timely completion of treatments
• Provide direct nursing care and assessments as needed
• Oversee new admissions, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition
• Collaborate with physicians during rounds when necessary
• Address staff concerns professionally and escalate issues appropriately
• Assist in performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current, active RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care, subacute, or geriatric settings
