Job summary

Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in West Orange, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The role focuses on guiding and mentoring nursing staff while ensuring high-quality resident care. An active NJ RN license and at least 2 years in a SNF are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant DON to support daily clinical operations
• Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care
• Address team concerns proactively and escalate when appropriate
• Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling to maintain optimal coverage
• Conduct staff evaluations, coaching, and performance management
• Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and facility committees
• Ensure accurate MDS documentation and assist with discharge planning
• Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents and their families
