Job summary

Arbor Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Wayne, NJ, is seeking an RN Supervisor for a full-time night shift (11 PM–7 AM). You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate resident care, and ensure compliance with care plans and regulations, while maintaining a compassionate, high-quality care environment.

Requirements include an active New Jersey RN license, valid BLS (CPR), and a minimum of two years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in New Jersey.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
