Job summary

Cedargate Health Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse - Supervisor to lead weekend shifts. The role requires supervising CNAs, CMTs, and Hall Monitors, with a focus on maintaining care standards and resident safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident safety and dignity while promoting quality care.

We are currently seeking a RN Charge Nurse - Supervisor for Weekends.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• The Charge Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) who has superior nursing knowledge. This position requires a strong unique person who is able to adapt at a moment’s notice to any situation including those of high stress. The RN that holds this position must have the ability to be positive in all things with the ability to manage our behavioral unit successfully.
• Supervise and support nursing staff including CNAs, CMTs, and Hall Monitors.
• Conduct audits, assessments, and monitor compliance with care standards.
• Assist with staff training and orientation under DON guidance.
• Oversee medication passes and supervise CMTs during administration.
• Ensure resident safety and dignity while promoting quality care.
