Leadership and Management: Create and implement nursing policies to foster a positive and organized work environment, planning, prioritizing, and assigning health care tasks to clinical support team members
Medication Management: Manage medication schedules and ensure communication with the medical team to avoid medication errors
Staff Development: Encourage all staff to adhere to the highest standards in patient care, conducting regular staff reviews and providing feedback
Knowledge and Education: Maintain knowledge of current trends in nursing and ambulatory care, educating teams and mentoring staff members
Patient Communication: Communicate with patients and their family members as needed, offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distress
Patient Care: Assess, process, and discharge patients, ensuring that all care is provided in accordance with hospital policy and regulations
Record Keeping: Manage patient and employee records, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date, and that HIPAA regulations and quality standards are met
Communication: Provide a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff, and physicians, ensuring that all parties are informed and involved in patient care
Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience: 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
Certifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification (required)
Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Competitive Salary: $55-$60 hourly
Full-Time Position: Monday-Friday, day shift
