Pay Rate: $50.00–$52.00 per hour
Optima Care Harborview is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our overnight nursing team. This leadership role is ideal for an RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care, mentoring staff, and ensuring clinical excellence throughout the overnight shift.
Supervise and support nursing staff during the overnight shift.
Oversee clinical operations to ensure the highest standards of resident care.
Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with daily nursing operations.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
Assess residents, respond promptly to changes in condition, and address clinical concerns.
Conduct routine rounds to promote resident safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
Provide leadership, coaching, and clinical guidance to nursing staff.
Participate in state surveys, audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize resident outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication regarding resident care and clinical issues.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide clinical decision-making as needed.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in a Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Nursing Home setting.
Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently while effectively managing overnight operations.
Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
