Job summary

Qualifications

• MD RN license must be current
• RN with at least 1 year of per diem nursing experience
• Active CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24-hour continuity of care with colleagues
• Oversee medical records in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Conduct medical assessments of residents and determine when physician contact is necessary
• Oversee the admission process for new or readmitted residents, ensuring complete assessments and timely documentation
• Provide medication or treatment guidance per established policies

Job Description

• Work with your colleagues to ensure 24-hour continuity of care.
• Provide oversight of medical records in the electronic health record.
• Conduct medical assessments of residents and determine when it is necessary to call the physician.
• Oversee the admission process of new or re-admitted residents to the nursing care center, assuring resident assessment and documentation are complete and timely.
• Provide appropriate advice for medications or treatments by established policies.

Qualifications

• RN or BSN Degree from a school of professional nursing
• Current MarylandRegistered Nurse License
• RN experience for at least one year is required for per diem status
• Active CPR certification
