Job summary

Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Utica, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for nights and weekend overnight shifts. The role involves scheduling and supervising nursing staff, ensuring a compassionate atmosphere, and maintaining documentation with a strong focus on resident safety and privacy.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with long-term care experience, proficient in EHR systems, and capable of leading a team with excellent communication

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong leadership and oversight of nursing staff.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and prescribing programs.
• Good computer skills and ability to document care.
• Experience in long-term care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign nursing staff to cover shifts.

Oneida Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor nights and weekend overnight in Utica, NY.

Duties:

• Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families
• Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests
• Maintain a safe & clean working environment by implementing rules & regulations
• Ensure resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
• Manage documentation of resident care services
• Promote a cooperative relationship among health care teams

Requirements:

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required
• Should be a strong and positive Team Director for all members of the staff
• Familiar with EHR and Prescribing programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills
