Job summary

Everyday Allies Home Care is seeking a compassionate RN Supervisor to lead our in-home care team in Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding service areas. You will conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, develop and update Plans of Care, supervise caregivers, and ensure services align with agency policies and regulatory requirements, while promoting safety and dignity for clients.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding service areas

Job Summary:

Everyday Allies Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced RN Supervisor to join our growing home care team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive safe, high-quality, individualized care in their homes. You will conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, develop and update Plans of Care, supervise in-home caregivers, and monitor client needs to ensure services are delivered in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial in-home client assessments and reassessments as required
  • Develop, review, and update individualized Plans of Care based on each client's needs
  • Conduct required supervisory visits and monitor client needs on an ongoing basis
  • Supervise in-home aides, companions, and sitters to ensure services are provided according to the Plan of Care
  • Provide caregivers with written instructions regarding client care and service expectations
  • Identify and document changes in clients' physical, cognitive, behavioral, or emotional condition
  • Communicate significant changes or concerns to appropriate parties
  • Coordinate client services with families, healthcare providers, and other agencies as appropriate
  • Identify potential safety concerns within the client's home and recommend appropriate interventions
  • Promote client safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and agency information
  • Report observed or suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation in accordance with applicable reporting requirements
  • Participate in quality assurance, policy development, and improvement of home care services as requested
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to caregivers and agency staff
  • Participate in weekend or holiday on-call coverage as needed
  • Follow all agency policies and procedures related to infection control, safety, documentation, education, and professional practice
  • Maintain accurate time and visit records
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize and respond to changes in client condition
  • Commitment to accurate and timely documentation
  • Knowledge of infection control, exposure to body fluids, hazardous materials, and workplace safety
  • Professional, dependable, compassionate, and able to work effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and agency leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous home care or home health experience
  • Experience conducting in-home new client assessments
  • Experience developing and updating Plans of Care
  • Previous caregiver or CNA/PCA supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of home care regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Strong leadership and caregiver coaching skills
