Job summary

Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation seeks an RN Weekend Supervisor to join our care team in Elizabeth City, NC. This role oversees clinical operations, supervises nurses and CNAs, interfaces with physicians, and coordinates care for our residents with a focus on quality and safety.

The successful candidate will hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in North Carolina, have 1–3 years of RN experience (long-term care preferred), and be prepared to provide and lead clinical education

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of RN experience, long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.

Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. This is an every weekend OR every other weekend position.

Applicant must have unrestricted Registered Nurse license.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN Weekend Supervisor will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

The RN Weekend will:

• Will oversee clinical operations of the unit and is responsible for staff
• Will provide supervision of nurses and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physicians
• Will provide QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed
• Will provide care for our most clinically acute patients and residents.Requirements:
• Current license by theNorth CarolinaBoard of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum one to three years of experience as an RN, preferably in long term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
• Nursing Management experience preferred.
