Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Hertford, NC is seeking a strong and compassionate Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership Friday through Sunday. This role offers a consistent weekend leadership opportunity in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

As the on-duty clinical leader, you will supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensure regulatory compliance, manage weekend operations, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Active NC RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.

Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a strong and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight Friday through Sunday. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN looking for a consistent weekend leadership role in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

Position Overview

The RN Weekend Supervisor serves as the clinical leader on duty, overseeing nursing operations, supporting staff, and ensuring exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance throughout the weekend.

Schedule

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Days

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs during weekend shifts
• Ensure high-quality resident care and accurate clinical documentation
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations
• Respond to clinical concerns, emergencies, and family needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Monitor staffing, workflows, and resident safety
• Promote a positive, team-focused nursing environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• At least one year in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work independently and manage weekend operations
