Job summary

Park Place Transitional Care in Great Falls, MT seeks a Registered Nurse for a subacute unit. The role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a compensation range of $40–$55 per hour based on experience, with a full-time schedule on a facility that supports acute care skills.

You will work on a subacute unit with ventilator and trach care capabilities, collaborate with a hospital affiliate, and provide direct patient care, education, and emergency response.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered MT RN license or compact state
• Active ALS certification or willingness to obtain within the first 2 weeks of employment
• Background check clearance without stipulations
• Minimum 6 months hospital experience; ICU/ER exposure preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor vitals and record changes.
• Set up and adjust ventilator settings as prescribed.
• Assess patient condition and identify changes.
• Administer medications and monitor effects.
• Provide respiratory care including suctioning and nebulizers.
• Document patient progress and ventilator settings.
• Collaborate with doctors and therapists on care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatments.
• Follow infection control protocols, especially with ventilated patients.
• Respond to emergencies and ventilator alarms.
