Job summary

Park Place Transitional Care in Great Falls, MT, seeks an experienced LPN for a subacute unit with ventilator care capabilities. The role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and an hourly rate of $30–$36 based on experience.

The ideal candidate holds Montana (or compact) LPN licensure, ALS certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks), and can pass a background check. Acute care experience, ICU/ER exposure, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active LPN licensure in Montana or compact state
• ALS certification or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks
• Able to pass a background check without stipulations
• Minimum 6 months in acute care; ICU/ER exposure preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor vitals regularly and record readings
• Assist with ventilator management and settings as prescribed
• Assess patient condition and identify changes or complications
• Administer medications and monitor effects
• Provide respiratory care including suctioning and tracheostomy care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and ventilator settings
• Collaborate with doctors and therapists to adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families about treatments
• Follow infection control practices for intubated patients
• Respond to emergencies and ventilator alarms
• Perform other duties as directed
