Job summary

Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH seeks a RN Stroke and Sepsis Coordinator to drive quality outcomes within the Quality Department. This role collaborates with staff, nurses, physicians and leaders to improve patient care and nursing practice through data-informed decisions.

The coordinator oversees quality metrics, supports evidence-based improvements, and ensures compliance with Joint Commission and CMS requirements while leveraging hospital data analytics.

Qualifications

• RN with Bachelor’s degree
• CPHQ certification within 18 months or obtained
• Minimum three years’ nursing, quality, or hospital data analytics experience
• ICU or ED nursing experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data collection software

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective leadership, communication, collaboration and interpersonal relationships with the care delivery team to develop reliable systems of care
• Apply quality improvement methodologies and tools to improve and sustain improvements
• Interpret patterns in data to evaluate population-based priorities and outcomes
• Promote a professional nursing environment with accountability and high-level communication in peer review and reporting of errors
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS and other quality standards with department leaders and staff
• Oversee house-wide readiness and rounds; monitor and improve compliance with regulatory accreditations
