Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN Stroke Sepsis Coordinator to lead and sustain our stroke program protocols, education, and multidisciplinary care efforts. The role supports sepsis and stroke initiatives, collaborates with physicians and staff, and focuses on improving patient outcomes.

The position requires current RN licensure, an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice or approved compact state required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• ED experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with medical and hospital staff to provide multidisciplinary care to patients with sepsis.
• Provides education and clinical expertise to care team, patients, and families.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to decrease mortality and length of stay.
• Develops and integrates patient learning needs.
• Develops and implements individualized teaching plans for patients and families regarding Stroke.
• Maintains knowledge of current stroke/sepsis guidelines and participates in related in-services.
