Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a Quality Stroke Coordinator to lead and advance the hospital's Stroke Program. The role collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to assess outcomes, develop policies, and drive quality improvements.

You will oversee monthly program meetings and ensure data submission to quality and benchmarking entities. Ideal candidates are Registered Nurses with a BSN or higher and 3–5 years of experience, preferably from ICU or ED settings.

Qualifications

• RN registered nurse required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience required.
• ICU or ED experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, and grow the Stroke Program with the Stroke Medical Director.
• Conduct monthly Stroke Program meetings to evaluate outcomes and develop policies and best practices.
• Provide leadership to enhance the Stroke Program through education and networking.
• Coordinate process-improvement activities to improve performance outcomes across departments.
• Track, report, and submit hospital Stroke data to Quality Department and benchmarking agencies.
• Consult with healthcare teams and patients during hospitalization and develop teaching materials.
