Community Health Systems is looking for a full-time Stroke Program Coordinator RN at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. This position involves managing and overseeing the stroke program, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance. Candidates must possess clinical experience in cardiac and neurological care.
Responsibilities include coordinating program operations, educating staff and the community, monitoring care quality, and managing program data. A robust benefits package including health insurance and retirement plan is provided.

Northwest Medical Center is an accredited Chest Pain Center. A protocol‑driven approach to heart care reduces time to treatment during the critical first stages of a stroke or heart attack. The center works with emergency services and other departments to provide patients with needed care, and offers services including but not limited to Heart Failure Care, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Cardiac Surgery.
Successful candidates will have a background in an acute hospital setting and cardiac care.
2+ years of clinical experience in cardiac care, neurology, stroke care, or critical care is required.
Stroke Program Coordinator manages, coordinates, and oversees the stroke program, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, evidence‑based care. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, implements education and training, monitors regulatory compliance, and leads quality improvement. The coordinator also serves as liaison between the organization and the community, promoting stroke awareness and prevention.
