Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Mooresville, NC seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care within substance use treatment programs. You will support patient safety, manage medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing and offers full-time hours, with a night-shift schedule that supports comprehensive care across Detox and Residential programs.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in North Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred; SUD treatment and detox preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of the medical provider.
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and admission documentation.
• Administer medications and provide education as indicated.
• Monitor patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions or referrals.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and treatment teams.
