Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse Pool for Med/Surg at Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, IL. The role is full-time with night shifts, traveling within the facility to float across med/surg units as needed to cover greatest demand.

Licensure in IL is required, BSN strongly preferred, and BLS/CPR certification is necessary along with at least one year of inpatient care experience. Competitive pay with premium incentives and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Staff Nurse Pool, Med/Surg

Location: Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park IL

Work Hours

• Full Time: Full Time - 36 hours/week; 12-hour nights
• Hours: nights 1900-0730; standard weekday with weekend rotation and holiday rotation
• Required Travel: Float to all medical surgical units at Highland Park Hospital

Requirements

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: Minimum of one-year of direct inpatient care experience required

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on med-surg units across Glenbrook Hospital based on areas of greatest need
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
