The role requires an accredited RN program graduate with a California license, CPR certification, and strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills to ensure high-quality resident care according to standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and valid California license.
• Leadership, communication, and organizational skills with patient focus.
• Critical thinking to assess data and develop nursing plans of care.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing and speaking; CPR-certified.
• Adhere to standards, policies, and procedures within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per physician orders and scope of practice.
• Administer medications, document care, and monitor patient progress.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents following policy and procedures.
• Develop and update Plans of Care; revise nursing interventions as needed.
• Supervise CNAs and participate in care conferences and meetings.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality assurance practices.
