Marietta Center for Nursing and Healing in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced RN Staff Development Coordinator to lead education, training, and infection prevention at our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee orientation, ongoing education, infection prevention initiatives, and regulatory compliance, while partnering with leadership to ensure a culture of safety and continuous

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of infection prevention standards and training best practices.
• Comfort with data tracking and improvement planning.

Responsibilities

• Ensures facility complies with regulatory requirements relating to staff credentialing and education.
• Provides services associated with the ongoing professional development of staff.
• Conducts new employee orientation and coordinates competency completion.
• Ensures the delivery of annual mandatory and continuous education for staff using internal or external resources according to state and federal regulations and company policy.
• T ea ches certain in-house courses, such as the CNA training program, special care unit training, etc.
• Coordinates employee health program (immunizations, flu shots, physical exams, etc.)
• Monitors and ensures current licensure and certifications of facility staff
• Maintains employee education, training, and health files.
• As an Infection Preventionist, you will lead the charge in our compliance efforts with infection prevention requirements.
