Job summary

Empire Care Centers seeks an experienced RN Staff Development Coordinator to lead staff education and credentialing across the facility in Atlanta, GA. The role includes coordinating new employee orientation and ensuring ongoing competency in line with state and federal regulations.

You will teach in-house courses, manage health programs, and oversee licensure tracking while driving infection prevention compliance. This is a full-time on-site role with regular weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Must be RN.
• Experienced as a previous SDC at a skilled living facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensures facility compliance with staff credentialing and education.
• Manages ongoing professional development of staff.
• Conducts new employee orientation and coordinates competency completion.
• Oversees annual mandatory and continuous education according to regulations and policy.
• Teaches in-house courses (e.g., CNA training, unit training).
• Coordinates employee health program (immunizations, flu shots, exams).
• Monitors licensure and certifications of staff.
• Maintains staff education, training and health records.
• Leads infection prevention efforts to meet regulatory requirements.
