Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan and direct in-service education, ensuring compliance with laws and Life Care standards. The role emphasizes training nursing associates, maintaining records, and upholding patient rights and safety in a post-acute setting.

Qualified candidates will have an active RN license (ASN/BSN preferred), nursing degree, and teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Nursing degree (ASN or BSN).
• 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification by hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in-service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in-service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients as needed.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance and good judgment.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
