Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Memphis is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Development Coordinator to lead training and in-service education for nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and resident safety. You will develop and implement job skills training, assess CNA competencies, and provide one-on-one coaching as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in health care; long-term care preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and regulations pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing staff.
• Regularly check CNA competency and provide 1:1 instruction as needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area before patient care.
