Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact/temporary license
• BSN preferred
• Experience in pre- and/or post-surgery nursing
• At least 2 years RN experience preferred (outpatient surgical experience accepted)

Responsibilities

• Receive and provide thorough patient handoff reports
• Deliver high-quality care to pre-op and post-op surgical patients
• Perform patient admissions and discharges efficiently
• Collaborate with the care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accuracy in charting, assessments, and medication administration
• Adapt quickly within a busy, fast-paced unit
