Mercy Heart Hospital Springfield is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day shift in our Heart Hospital. You will provide professional nursing care, perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and assist physicians with cardiovascular exams and procedures, while documenting in the EHR and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
• Basic computer and electronic medical record skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and patient assessments.
• Monitor patient conditions and record vital signs.
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care.
• Document clinical information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Respond effectively to urgent and emergent patient situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
