Job summary

Mercy Heart Hospital in Springfield, MO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Heart Hospital team. You will provide professional nursing care, monitor and support cardiovascular patients, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN license.
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
  • Basic computer and electronic medical record skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care and patient assessments.
  • Monitor patient conditions and record vital signs.
  • Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care.
  • Document clinical information accurately in the EHR.
  • Respond effectively to urgent and emergent patient situations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-focused environment.

Overview

Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians. Assists the physician in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork. Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
