Job summary

The role requires national wound certification or commitment to obtain within a year, plus strong charting and regulatory knowledge. A collaborative interprofessional team environment and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license and meet leadership requirements.
• Complete Skin Health Team Lead orientation and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire.
• Pursue national wound certification within 1 year of hire; fast-track options may be provided.
• Experience with clinical charting, incident reporting and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of standards of care for the interprofessional wound care team.
• Familiarity with nursing home regulations and survey processes.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate a Skin Health and Wound management program with nursing center management.
• Support central supply as clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products.
• Oversee durable medical equipment related to wound prevention and management.
