In this role you will assess, document, and communicate resident status; coordinate care with physicians and families; supervise CNAs and LPNs; promote independence; respond to emergencies; and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current CT RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• One to two years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess, communicate, and document resident status
• Observe and report significant changes in resident condition
• Coordinate care with physicians, families, and healthcare providers
• Supervise and support Resident Care Assistants (CNAs) and LPNs
• Promote resident independence while meeting care needs
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident concerns
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Support a culture of dignity, respect, and exceptional service
