Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to plan and provide nursing care per orders and policy. You will delegate tasks, supervise staff, and lead a care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Required: ADN or nursing diploma with a NC RN license and BLS. A BSN is encouraged within two years of start date; two-way collaboration and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited ADN or nursing diploma program.
• Twelve months of clinical experience required.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff; act as charge nurse as assigned.
• Support patient/family needs and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Maintain environment of care including safety and regulatory compliance.
