Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC, seeks a licensed Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established policies. You will support families and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requires NC RN licensure, BLS, and12 months of clinical experience. The role may involve unit leadership responsibilities and participation in continuous improvement efforts within a Magnet organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with NC licensure.
• 12 months of clinical nursing experience required.
• Current NC RN licensure and BLS.
• BSN encouraged to enroll within two years of start date and complete within seven years.
• Ability to use computer systems and document care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Supervise and document nursing care; delegate tasks as needed.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a unit or group of patients.
• Maintain environment of care and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Precept and support development of other staff and learners.
