Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC seeks an experienced registered nurse to plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and policies. You will lead a patient-centered team, document care, and ensure quality outcomes within a Magnet-recognized system.

The role requires a nursing degree, NC RN licensure, and at least 12 months of clinical experience; BLS is required. Relocation and commitment bonuses may be available based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care according to physician orders and policies.
• Individualize care plans based on patient assessment and needs.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a unit or group of patients.
• Monitor environment and resources; ensure safety and equipment readiness.
• Support staff development and participate in performance improvement activities.
