Vivo Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee clinical operations in a long-term care setting in Jacksonville, FL. The role emphasizes leadership, policy adherence, and direct patient care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

The incumbent must hold an active nursing license, demonstrate strong teamwork, and ensure quality care for residents, including supervisory responsibilities and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Formación

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have at least two (2) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care facility.
• Must have a minimum of six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing day-to-day functions.
• Assist in obtaining staffing information to be posted daily.
• Demonstrates customer service and professionalism and leads by example with unit supervisors.
• Make rounds with physicians and schedule visits; complete wound rounds weekly with nurse supervisors.
• Participate in committees in Director's absence; chair standards of care meetings when needed.
• Prepare reports on nursing service programs and activities for committees.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule duties for nursing service.
• Develop work assignments and supervise scheduling of nursing staff.
• Make daily rounds to ensure standards and report findings to the Director.
• Ensure direct nursing care is provided by licensed nurses, CNAs, or nurse aides.
