Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day nursing functions.
• Make rounds with physicians and schedule physician visits.
• Develop work assignments and schedule staff; ensure nursing care standards are met.
• Ensure direct nursing care is provided by licensed nurses or CNAs.
• Prepare reports on nursing programs and activities for committees.
