Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center invites applications for a Night Shift RN on a 12-hour schedule (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.).

The role focuses on planning, implementing, directing and evaluating patient care using the nursing process while coordinating with all disciplines on the unit. Requirements include NY State RN registration, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS; ACLS is required or must be completed prior to orientation.

Qualifications

• RN registered in New York State and licensed.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Job Description

Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.

Requirements:

• -Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
• -Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• -1 - 2 years Critical Care experience preferred.
• -1 - 2 years Med-Surg experience required
• Current BLS required.
• -Current ACLS required or completion of ACLS prior to end of orientation required.
• - CCRN preferred
• -Acute care surgical experience preferred.
• -Med-Surg certification preferred.
• -Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

Salary Range: $59.144/hr - $68.028/hr (Commensurate with Education)
