Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse on the Med/Surg unit in New York. The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care, collaborating with other disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requires NY RN licensure, nursing diploma, BLS, and 1–2 years Med/Surg experience; BSN preferred; ventilator experience preferred. The position is night shift with 7p-7a weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Current registration in New York State as an RN; diploma and licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 1-2 years Med/Surg experience preferred; ventilator experience preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
