Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit in New York. The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care and requires collaboration across disciplines on the assigned unit.

The candidate should have NY RN licensure, a nursing diploma, and BLS; BSN is preferred, with 1–2 years Med-Surg experience and telemetry/ventilator exposure valued. 7a-7:30p shifts with weekend/holiday rotation follow.

Formación

• Registration in New York State as an RN with valid licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.
• 1–2 years Med-Surg experience required.
• Telemetry and/or ventilator patient experience preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• use nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with all disciplines on assigned unit.
• Provide day shift (7a-7:30p) on a 12-hour schedule.
• Attend to telemetry and ventilator patient needs as applicable.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while delivering quality care.

Requirements:

• Registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.

Salary Range: $61.454/hr - $70.338/hr (Commensurate with Experience)
