Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week SICU assignment in Billings, MT. The role involves night shifts with 12-hour hours, floating within the Critical Care Division and coverage based on census and unit needs.

Ideal candidates have high-acuity ICU experience and are comfortable with complex care. Required are 1+ year SICU/MICU experience, active RN license in Montana, and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Must-Have:
  • MICU and/or SICU experience
  • Independent and competent ability to work with complex, high acuity medical and trauma/neuro/surgical ICU patients

Description:This position is not for novice or entry-level RNs.Qualified candidates must have experience with high-acuity patients.The role involves floating primarily within the Critical Care Division, with potential to float to other units based on census needs.Weekend coverage requirements will vary according to unit needs.Patient ratios are expected to 2:1 for both days and nights.The daily census will be approximately 26 patients.The unit sees a variety of patient diagnoses, including ARDS, sepsis, trauma, and general surgery.Experience with trauma level I is required, while trauma level II experience is preferred.Candidates should possess skills in managing ventilated patients, blood product administration, and central line care/management.Ability to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure is crucial.Experience in the medical and surgical intensive care units is necessary.The department includes both medical and surgical/trauma/neurosurgical ICUs with a focus on high-acuity cases.Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more.Special procedures and equipment used in the ICU may include CRRT, ECMO, and IABP.
