Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week SICU assignment in Baltimore, MD. The RN will provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Surgical ICU, supporting post‑op and trauma cases and collaborating with the ICU team.

The shift is Day, with 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and a 13-week duration. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, and, ideally, Critical Care Certification, trauma course, EPIC proficiency, and ACLS.

Qualifications

• 2 years of current strong Surgical ICU experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have Critical Care Certification and ACLS.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult SICU patients, including post‑op and trauma cases.
• Float to areas with similar skill sets as needed.
• Document care accurately in EPIC and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.

Description:The Surgical ICU is a 20-bed adult ICU.The unit has a diverse patient population receiving various types of surgeries.Patient care includes Surgical ENT, GI Surgery, Trauma, Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures, and General Surgery.This role may require floating to areas with similar skill sets.
