Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Travel RN for the Medical Intensive Care Unit in Wichita, Kansas. This 13-week assignment requires current ICU RN experience and will involve 36 hours per shift with a 7:00–19:00 schedule.

The position offers acute care ICU responsibilities, emergency support, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a 26-bed unit. Prior Meditech experience is a plus, and the ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience.
• BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Travel RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
• Care for a 26-bed unit with 2:1 patient ratios.
• Perform moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring and airway management.
• Experience with Meditech/CPN EMR is preferred; prior Meditech experience prioritized.
• Candidates should be team oriented, coachable and adaptable.

Description:This position is for a travel RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.The unit has a total of 26 beds with a staffing level of 65 staff members.Patient ratios are 2:1, but this is an estimate and not guaranteed.The type of equipment used in the unit includes CRRT.The EMR system in use is Meditech / CPN.Candidates with prior Meditech experience will be prioritized.Experience traveling to large trauma facilities is preferred.Candidates will perform moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management.The ideal candidate will possess teamwork, coachability, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
