Job summary

Olympic Medical Center in Washington's North Olympic Peninsula is hiring a registered nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Short Stay Unit. Compensation & Benefits

FTE: 80% WORK SHIFT Variable PAY RANGE: $41.68 - $74.60 UNION: SEIU 1199-RN and LPN

• Weekend & Holiday Shifts: Yes
• On Call Shifts: No
• Shift Differentials: Evening - $3.00/hour Night - $5.00/hour Weekend - $4.50/hour
• Premiums: Standby - $4.00/hour Charge - $3.25/hour Float - $2.50/hour Per Diem - 15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits)
• Certification - $2.00/hour Preceptor - $2.00/hour San Exam - $500.00

Job Description

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the OMC Short Stay Unit. Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing. Sees patients under a variety of circumstances. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. May handle emergency or crisis situations.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, required.

Experience

One year experience in a hospital setting, preferred.

Licensure & Credentials

Current Washington State RN license, required. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), required.
