Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on the North Olympic Peninsula in Port Angeles seeks a registered nurse for night shift. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while promoting a positive professional image.

Requires at least two years of ED/ICU experience and WA RN license; BLS/ACLS within 30 days, PALS/ENPC within 6–12 months; TNCC within 6 months; NIHSS within 30 days. FTE 90% with weekend/holiday shifts and a retention incentive of 15,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• Minimum two years’ experience preferred with Emergency and/or ICU experience.
• Current Washington State RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• PALS and ENPC required within 6 months of hire; both within 1 year preferred.
• TNCC required within six months of hire.
• NIHSS required within 30 days of hire.

Experience

Licensure/Credentials

• Current Washington State RN license required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required within 30 days of hire.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within 6 months of hire. Preference for both PALS and ENPC within 6 months of hire, but required to have at least one within 6 months of hire, and both within 1 year of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within six months of hire.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 30 days of hire.
