Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, WA is seeking a registered nurse for the Short Stay Unit. This 80% FTE position offers varied shifts and a competitive pay range with shift differentials.

The RN must hold a Washington State RN license and BLS certification; hospital experience is preferred. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while delivering professional, compassionate patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Differentials:

• Evening - $3.00/hour
• Night - $5.00/hour
• Weekend - $4.50/hour

Premiums:

• Standby - $4.00/hour
• Charge - $3.25/hour
• Float - $2.50/hour
• Per Diem - 15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits)
• Certification - $2.00/hour
• Preceptor- $2.00/hour
• San Exam- $500.00

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the OMC Short Stay Unit. Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing. Sees patients under a variety of circumstances. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. May handle emergency or crisis situations.

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, required.

EXPERIENCE:

• One year experience in a hospital setting, preferred.

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS:

• Current Washington State RN license, required.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), required.
