Qualifications

• RN license in Tennessee
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• 3–5 years clinical nursing experience
• 1–3 years supervisory experience
• Ability to manage and coordinate nursing activities on assigned shift

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the nursing activities on assigned shift reflecting hospital philosophy and objectives
• Serves as a management/administrative liaison to hospital departments
• Promotes information flow using effective communication systems
• Solves problems and troubleshoots issues impacting operations or patient care
• Participates in quality monitoring and regulatory readiness activities
• Mentors nursing staff during emergencies and routine operations
• Oversees staffing and patient placement to optimize throughput
• Responds to patient or family concerns in absence of a patient advocate
