Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis, TN seeks a Nurse Supervisor to coordinate patient care on the assigned shift and act as a liaison to hospital departments. You will ensure regulatory readiness and quality monitoring while guiding nursing staff to deliver compassionate, efficient care.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), 3–5 years of clinical nursing and supervisory experience, and active Tennessee RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing activities on the assigned shift reflecting the hospital’s philosophy and objectives.
• Serves as management/administrative liaison to hospital departments based on policies and procedures.
• Promotes information flow using effective communication systems within the hospital.
• Solves problems and troubleshoots issues impacting hospital operations or patient care.
• Participates in quality monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure regulatory readiness.
• Assessing current nursing practices and making recommendations to leadership.
• Provide guidance to nursing staff during emergencies and peak periods.
• Oversee patient placement and throughput to optimize staffing and efficiency.
