Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred
• 1–3 years managerial experience
• Experience caring for residents in acute or skilled nursing facility
• Current CPR license

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel and nursing functions on a shift
• Assess staffing and resident needs and direct care
• Work with adult geriatric population
• Serve as role model for safe, effective and efficient nursing care
• Manage day-to-day operations of Nursing Department
• Interface with others to ensure efficient unit operations
• Seek growth opportunities to expand responsibilities and maintain clinical competency
