Job summary

Grand Traverse Pavilions is seeking a motivated, full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan. The base wage for this position is $38.54 per hour, with a $5.00/hour evening shift differential and a $5.00/hour weekend differential, plus a $3.40/hour wage pass-through.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Responsibilities include maintaining nursing care quality, organizing work with Nurse Aides, adjusting care assignments by resident needs and staff competence,

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising the quality of nursing care on the assigned shift.
• Organizing own work effectively and assisting Nurse Aides.
• Adjusting resident care assignments for the shift based on needs and staff competence.
• Making resident rounds initially and regularly to monitor condition and physician orders.
• Maintaining rehabilitative programs for the shift.
• Ensuring medical records are complete by shift end (charting, monthly charting, etc.).
• Keeping care plans current with condition changes.
• Participating in interdisciplinary care planning and documenting in the clinical record.
• Administering and documenting medications and treatments, handling controlled substances, and charging stock medications as per procedure.
