Job summary

FutureCare is looking for a dedicated RN Shift Supervisor in Maryland to lead a nursing team and ensure excellence in resident care. This role involves supervising nursing personnel, managing operations, and providing patient care in a geriatric environment.

The ideal candidate must hold an active RN license in Maryland and preferably a Bachelor’s in Nursing. A competitive salary range of $40.50-$56.00 per hour and excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of managerial experience is preferred.
• Experience in an acute or skilled nursing facility is essential.

Salary Range $40.50-$56.00/HR. Every Other Weekend 7PM-7AM

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities include supervision of all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift
• Duties involve assessing staffing and resident needs and directing care
• Works predominately with an adult geriatric population
• Serves as role model for staff through provision of safe, effective and efficient nursing care. Supervises clinical aspects of nursing.
• Manages day to day operations of Nursing Department
• Interfaces with others to insure efficient unit operations.
• Seeks opportunities for own growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred
• 1- 3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility
• Must possess a current CPR license
